ºÚÁÏÉç

On May 30, 1777, 57 Shawnee warriors attacked a milking party outside of Logan’s Fort, Kentucky. All but one of the party were able to return to the fort. Over the next few days, the Shawnee and those within the fort continued a steady fire against each other.  The Shawnee ultimately left on June 30, 1777.  

The survival of the settlers at Logan’s Fort enabled the ºÚÁÏÉçs to retain a foothold on the frontier. This made it possible for the ºÚÁÏÉçs to use Logan’s Fort as a staging ground for attacks on Native ºÚÁÏÉç villages.
