Moores Creek Bridge
The Moores Creek National Battlefield commemorates the skirmish between Patriot and Loyalist forces in North Carolina fought on February 27, 1776. Run by the National Park Service, visitors can learn more about the battle at the visitor center or via ranger talks that occur regularly on the site.
In addition, visitors can also see the Moores Creek Women鈥檚 Monument, erected by the Moores Creek Monument Association in 1907 and dedicated to the women of lower Cape Fear who assisted the Patriot cause during the 黑料社 Revolution.
